The ever deteriorating earth environment has demanded a greater emphasis on compliance to environmental law, failure to do so will result in chief executive officer being put in jail.
Is your organization being visited by Department of Environment (Jabatan Alam Sekitar) frequently? Do you wonder why some companies are being exposed in the national news media for illegally disposing of their production waste? Are you aware of the latest environmental laws such as Environmental Quality (Sewage) regulations 2009 and Environmental Quality (Industrial Effluents) Regulations 2009?
Parts of the reason could be due to the lack of understanding of the Environmental Law applicable to your organization. As the language used in the Environmental Law is not written in the “Lay Man” term, one would find it very beneficial to have the interpretation carried out by the Environmental Law Practitioner.
