COURSE REQUIREMENTS

WEEK 1
Day 1 : Six sigma and Minitab software overview
Day 2 : Six sigma DEFINE phase
Day 3 : Six sigma MEASURE phase
Day 4 : Six sigma MEASURE phase
Day 5 : Six sigma MEASURE phase
END OF WEEK ONE :
Project: Identify six sigma improvement project while verifying baseline data. Six sigma project performance indicators are identified. Potential root causes of problem are screened & verified.
Results: Projects identified. Charters established. Project timeline is established. Critical to quality factors are identified and measured.
WEEK 2
Day 6 : Six sigma ANALYZE phase
Day 7 : Six sigma ANALYZE phase
Day 8: Six sigma IMPROVE & CONTROL phase
Day 9: Six sigma IMPROVE & CONTROL phase
Day 10 : Six sigma project closure and examination
END OF WEEK TWO :
Project: Statistical analysis verifies process parameters, identify source of process variation and deficiency. Establish and implement improvement actions.
Results: Focus of Improve phase identified. Monitor and control systems focus on continuous improvement
